Goals
Children deserve the best possible start in life. Many children can face different kinds of adversity that affect their growth and threatens their future well-being and happiness. Early intervention can play a role in offering these children and their families the support they need to reach their potential.
We receive many referrals from a wide range of services and organisations. We deal with complex cases and work in partnership with services to draw up plans to work in the best interest of the family and child. Families come from all walks of life and struggle with parenting due to many reasons, experiences, trauma, mental health, new arrivals from abroad, cultural, and religious norms, gender identity, different issues and events from early childhood. The list is endless.
Upon receiving the referral, we implement many steps and stages to review the case. We work with the universal principles of identification; assessment; support and review and use the model of the stages of behaviour change as a guideline.
