The Nurturing Programme

The Nurturing Programme is an evidence-based parenting programme that begins with an introduction workshop, followed by 10 weekly sessions designed to support parents and carers in building strong, positive relationships with their children. The programme covers key topics such as emotional wellbeing, communication, setting boundaries, and managing behaviour.  We offer tailored versions of the course, including those with Islamic values, support for families of children with additional needs, and culturally sensitive adaptations. To ensure accessibility, the programme is delivered both face-to-face and online group sessions in English, Urdu, Hindi, Arabic, Punjabi, Somali, and other languages upon request, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for families from all backgrounds.

Talking Teens

The Talking Teens Programme is a structured, evidence-based programme designed to support parents and carers of teenagers in navigating the challenges of adolescence with confidence and compassion. Over a series of seven interactive sessions, the programme explores key topics such as communication, boundaries, managing emotions, and strengthening relationships during the teenage years. We also offer a tailored variant: Talking Teens – Neurodivergent, specifically designed to support families of teenagers who are autistic, have ADHD, or other neurodiverse needs. This version includes adapted strategies and a greater focus on understanding and supporting neurodivergent behaviour. Both versions are available in face-to-face & online, and can be delivered in multiple languages including English, Urdu, Hindi, Arabic, Punjabi, Somali, and more upon request, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all families.

Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities

Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities (SFSC) is a culturally sensitive, evidence-based parenting programme that supports parents and carers of children aged 3 to 18 in building positive relationships, managing behaviour effectively, and raising confident, resilient children. Delivered over 13 weekly face-to-face or online sessions, SFSC also explores the impact of culture, faith, and community on parenting, while promoting emotional wellbeing and social responsibility. We also offer SFSC: Reducing Parental Conflict, a tailored version of the programme that focuses on helping parents reduce tension and communication breakdowns in their relationships—whether they are together or separated—in order to protect children from the negative effects of parental conflict. Both versions are offered in multiple languages including English, Urdu, Hindi, Arabic, Punjabi, Somali, and others upon request, ensuring accessibility for families from all backgrounds.

The workshops are ideal for those who prefer a shorter commitment or an introduction to nurturing parenting approaches. We offer both face-to-face and online sessions, and can deliver them in a range of languages including English, Urdu, Hindi, Arabic, Punjabi, Somali, and others upon request.

Playful Parenting Workshops

Playful Parenting is a fun, hands-on approach that helps parents and carers strengthen their bond with their children through the power of play. These face-to-face four sessions explore how play can be used to encourage cooperation, reduce conflict, and support emotional development in a relaxed, supportive environment. Parents learn practical ways to use creativity and imagination to connect with their children, build trust, and promote positive behaviour. Playful Parenting is delivered in person only and is available in a range of languages including English, Urdu, Hindi, Arabic, Punjabi, Somali, and others upon request.

Improvemen

Improvemen is a self-awareness group programme for all communities. The programme has been carefully crafted to develop a deeper level of thinking about the beliefs men hold and the impact of their actions and behaviour on their loved ones. The 22-week course is a combination of the Freedom Programme, Family Links & ParentingU model. We offer two groups' a casework group of up to 5 participants and a  generic group of up to 15. The groups are non-judgemental, confidential, and have a friendly atmosphere. This course is open to all and will run every term.
